Selecting the appropriate resolution :
Choose between HIGH and NORMAL resolution by changing polarity of the
voltage supply. In the NORMAL mode weaker signals are also evaluated.
The sensor’s sensing range is extended (60 cm) and the sensor can be used in
difficult environmental conditions. If high speed detection is required, select HIGH
resolution. The sensing range is reduced to 30 cm and compensation of influences
due to deposits are not compensated to the same degree but in this mode the
response time is 1 ms instead of 2 ms (NORMAL resolution).
The minimum target sizes and minimum distances between two adjacent objects
are shown in the table below.
