I.S. Counter/Timer/Tachometer/Clock

These versatile dual input instruments will perform a variety of counting and timing functions within the hazardous area. Both inputs will operate for two wire proximity detectors, switch contacts, magnetic pick-offs or voltage pulses. All models can be supplied calibrated to customers requirements or easily programmed on-site using a simple menu. These functions can be further extended by the addition of optional alarm outputs to switch any certified intrinsically safe load, such as a solenoid valve or sounder. In the event of power failure, an internal battery will maintain all instrument functions for 24 hours. Field or Panel-Mounting models.

Application	Details
Counter	Can bi-directionally count and scale pulses from one or two inputs
Timer	Elapsed time is displayed in seconds, minutes and hours or single unit of measurement. Alarm contacts allow control of processes which operate for a fixed duration.
Tachometer	Measure and display rotary or linear speed while recording machine run time. Alarm outputs allow over and underspeed monitoring.
Clock	Displays time in the hazardous area. Alarms allow hazardous or safe area loads to be switched on and off. Up to three times in any 24 hour period.
