Drill Machine Guarding

Application:
Point-of-operation guarding of an automated drilling station.

Description:
Hazardous motion is stopped with an interruption of the light screen, or by an individual activation of the integral E-stop input.

Guarding:
Two sides of a station are guarded with a light screen, and two sides are guarded with hard-guarding.

Light Screen:
MICRO-SCREEN system with DIN controller, and one MSM Series corner mirror

WARNING:

Every guarding application has a unique set of safety requirements which must be carefully examined.
