Capacitive Sensors

Capacitive sensors are non-contact and isolated sensors. Both electrically conductive and non-conductive materials can be detected reliably. Capacitive sensors are also suitable for applications in which inductive sensors would not work.

A typical application of capacitive sensors is distance and position measuring, such as the measuring of bending, thickness, level, eccentricity, concentricity, distortion, wear and vibrations.
